A 2000 study that looked at the treatment outcomes of spinal manipulation and ischemic compression in fibromyalgia patients revealed a significant decrease in pain (77.2%), improvements in sleep quality (63.5%) and lessening of fatigue (74.8%) for one month after treatment.
